DIY Fresh Face Facial Toner

I’ve got another fun oily beauty DIY for you today! I looooove using a toner after I wash my face or do a mask like this one.

I’ve been using the Think Dirty app and finding that a lot of my skincare routine is full of some unexpected harsh chemicals! That doesn’t leave me feeling so “fresh faced”!

So, I wanted to see if I could DIY my own toner and see how I like it. Turns out, my DIY toner is almost or just as awesome as the toner you can buy directly from Young Living’s ART skincare line. Sweeet!

This recipe is super easy and takes just a few minutes to make!

I know what you’re thinking … Why Would I Use a Facial Toner?

Well… It helps to restore your skin’s pH balance, shrinks pores, moisturizes and refreshes skin! Plus it can help support clear, healthy skin especially after using a mask. Cool, huh?!

Basically, it’s a vital part of a good skincare routine.

What You Will Need:

  • 4 oz Glass or Stainless Steel Spray Bottle
  • 1 oz Raw Apple Cider Vinegar – I buy this stuff by the gallon!
  • 1 oz Witch Hazel
  • 15 drops Frankincense Essential Oil (I only buy my essential oils here!)
  • 15 drops of Lavender Essential Oil
  • 5-10 drops Tea tree (Melaleuca Alternifolia) Essential Oil (optional: great for oily, acne/breakout prone skin)
  • 5-10 drops of Patchouli essential oil (optional)
  • Filtered or Distilled Water

Directions:

Add the apple cider vinegar and witch hazel to your choice of spray bottle. Then add your choice of essential oils.

Then, add water to fill, but be careful not to over fill! Put on the top and shake, shake, shake!

To use, I spray on a cotton pad and apply all over my face after cleansing or using a mask to my face. Then, I  follow with my normal facial moisturizer and the rest of my skin care routine.

WHAT ABOUT YOU? HAVE YOU EVER MADE YOUR OWN FACIAL TONER BEFORE? WHAT OTHER BEAUTY PRODUCTS HAVE YOU DIY’d? I HOPE YOU GIVE THIS A TRY! (Let me know if you do!)
